Let’s support Hector

Hector is a 15-year-old student who has been fighting for three years now for religious symbols to be removed from her college in Dos Torres (Cordoba). His perseverance and efforts could count on the support of his parents, friends or Andalusia Laïque , but neither the educational team, the Council of Education took the appropriate measures.

Dear Comrades,

As you probably know, The International Association of Freethougt is born in Oslo in Norway, on the 10th of August 2011.

The association exists today on every continent and gather a great number of atheist, freethought and secular associations. It is represented by eleven spokespersons and an international Council with forty members, from all the continents. The three languages practised are french, english and spanish. (more…)

Church Crimes and paedophilia: The Church must be accountable to the Justice of men!

A new week, A new Cardinal condemned. On 7th March, the highest official of the Catholic Church in France, the Archbishop of Lyon Philippe Barbarin, was condemned for not reporting the repeated sexual abuses committed by priests on 70 minors. Philippe Barbarin was sentenced to six months in prison with a suspended sentence. He will appeal, but nevertheless indicated his resignation to the pope. (more…)
