To the delegates of the 106th session of the ILO

The International Association of the Free Thought, present in the sessions of the ILO, invites you to come to discuss. Indeed, freethinkers are alarmed by the growing orientation in some countries to exploit the community belongings to silence employees’ legitimate claims, even if they would share a number of religious convictions of employers.

Decent work implies respect for ILO standards by governments and employers allowing freedom of association, freedom of organizing, and freedom of conscience. It is above all respect for the employee dignity.

This is why freethinkers support efforts to expand the ratification and effective implementation of collective bargaining agreements that ensure the exercise of freedom of trade union association and the application of trade union rights and the right to strike which is the inseparable corollary.
